Interview 3 people
For this activity, please interview three friends and ask them what they are most proud of. It could be something that they, or someone in their family, have accomplished.
On your blog, please share who these people were (first names only) and what they were proud of.
Dirty water , Clean water
For this activity, please watch this short introductory video from The Water Project.
On your blog, share what you have learned about The Water Project with us. What is the goal of the organisation? Where do they work? What have they achieved?
Role Model
For this activity, please think of someone who has had a positive impact on your life. Who is this person? What did they do that was positive?
On your blog, please tell us about this person.
Please remember to be Cyber smart and provide their first name only (unless they are a famous person!).
my brother Kitione Tamale. He’s not only shows great qualities of an older brother but of a good role model as well. He pushes me to the limits of highly achieving in whatever I do which is important because that leads me to having a good future ahead. He goes above and beyond, working really hard to provide money for my siblings and I, so that we live a good lifestyle. He influences me in a way where, what he does, I want myself to do. For example, without any excuses at all, he gets up every single morning, very early and heads off, putting in 100% of effort into what he does. Therefore that motivates me to be better and to do better. He shows compassion and love towards his close ones and respects everyone around him. I believe that is what makes him a good role model.
Non-Violently
For this activity, please think about an issue you would protest over (non-violently, of course!).
On your blog, explain the issue clearly and tell us why it is so important to you.
If it was me, I would consider non-violently protesting over the lack of diversity in my local council and health board. I think there should be people from different ethnicity, different jobs, and different ages who represent the city that I live in.
If you were a principal for one week
For this activity, let’s imagine that, like Helen, you are hired to lead an organisation. In this case, you are hired to be the principal of your school for one week. How exciting?! What changes would you introduce? Would you make the school day longer? Would you introduce daily trips to the swimming pool?On your blog, list five changes that you would make to your school if you were hired to be the principal for one week.
Mexico & USA
For this activity, let’s imagine that Donald Trump called you up and asked for your opinion on this controversial issue.
