my brother Kitione Tamale. He’s not only shows great qualities of an older brother but of a good role model as well. He pushes me to the limits of highly achieving in whatever I do which is important because that leads me to having a good future ahead. He goes above and beyond, working really hard to provide money for my siblings and I, so that we live a good lifestyle. He influences me in a way where, what he does, I want myself to do. For example, without any excuses at all, he gets up every single morning, very early and heads off,  putting in 100% of effort into what he does.Therefore that motivates me to be better and to do better. He shows compassion and love towards his close ones and respects everyone around him. I believe that is what makes him a good role model.

If it was me, I would consider non-violently protesting over the lack of diversity in my local council and health board. I think there should be people from different ethnicity, different jobs, and different ages who represent the city that I live in.

This week we done zentangle art. I decided to do a zoo animal, It was hard because the outline was hard to trace because there were some ups and downs to draw.

On Tuesday we done some I am poem. We decided to sit in a circle because we were doing the 21 game. If you got 21 you had to say your I am poem. It was funny and sad because some people cried before they said there poems and it is hard to say a poem in front of people.

Today we had an awesome activity to complete before the morning tea. Before the activity we had to do a max of 30 second video on a phone or Ipad. My group number was 1. We choose a value that is called INTEGRITY it means or stands for doing the right thing without no one looking. We done the Reality vs Expectations. My part was was Reality and my partner done Expectations. On the paper was Write three facts about the Rugby World Cup , the five top 2019 winners.

Hit the Button is a Math game that my group got choose to do tomorrow. It has Square Numbers , Division facts , Time tables , Halves , Doubles , Number bonds. I struggle on Division facts , Time tables. This game is to make you know what you don't know. 

Te Wiki o te reo maori

Last last week was Maori language week. GTS changed it up and added some cool and new we had to sing Maori songs before lunch. after all that we learnt the Maori version to Don't forget your roots.Some of the kids didn't know how to sing but they still sang. It was difficult but fun because I learnt some new words and sang the song from my culture.

Typing Test

Today we played a game called typing test. It was challenging because I was using a Ipad. It was fun because I got 33 correct words and 2 errors. My teacher said for the last one with the highest word correct gets a treat and group points. My group partner gets higher then the class because he practices after school and at home or in his spare time. 

Simon Says

Today we starting our day playing Simon Says. Simon Says is a game you play when you want to challenge yourself or just bored. My teacher said "The last 3 still standing gets group points and a treat,". I didn't stay in long because when my teachers said jump I didn't keep on jumping I stopped. It was fun because it was challenging.

Something special about glen Innes is that there is caring people and also prices in the shops are also cheap and the owner's are caring people. Glen Innes gets its name from a large farm owned by William Innes Taylor that was here.There were four Taylor brothers in Auckland, the sons of a British man who had a military career in India.

Chocolate Muffins

Step one - 1/2 cup of SR Flour
2 - 1/2 cup of sugar 
3 - 1/4 cup of cocoa & sog of chocolate chips 
4 - 1/2 cup of oil 
5 - 1/2 cup of milk , 1 egg 
6 - 2 Tbs of yogurt
7 - 1tsp vanilla 

8 - Mix well and 1 Tbsp each muffin

Shared Lunch

Today we had a group with us in the hall at Glen Taylor school. We had beautiful and hardworking teaches with us Considering that we got 25 in kiwi can through out the weeks we attended. Shout out to Mrs Fonua , Miss Tupou , Miss V , Mr Matt and Miss Tuia. Thanks to the teachers and students for making our little BBQ and shopping for our yummy and delicious pizza.

Each night for my homework I do something called read theory it's something to do with reading. You get a reading task to do each night you have to read the story before answering. I got 6 knowledge points/ 2 knowledge points/ 30 knowledge points and my score was 100%.
